Is there a limiation on the number of users that can use Draftworx?

Draftworx Desktop is licensed per user per annum, unlimited engagements.
Draftworx Cloud allows unlimited users, with pay per engagement.

How many client files can be created per licensed Draftworx user?

You can create unlimited client files per licensed Draftworx Desktop user.
Draftworx Cloud is charged per client file you create.

Which Financial Templates (Frameworks) and Working Papers (Methodologies) are included in Draftworx?

Included standard in Draftworx are the following financial statements, IFRS, IFRS Consolidation, IFRS SME, IFRS SME Consolidation, Close Corporation, Body Corporate, Trust, Partnership, Sole proprietor and Monthly Management Accounts. Working papers included comprise Audit, Review, Compilation, Accounting Officer, Agreed Upon Procedures, Estate Agent and Legal Practitioner.

How do I purchase a Draftworx license?

Draftworx Desktop is an annual license subscription per user, which includes various Financial Templates(Frameworks), Working Papers (Methodologies) and access to our super heroes in the Draftworx support team. We can be reached by phone, e-mail and live remote support, directly from within the Draftworx application. Draftworx pricing and list of templates are available on our Pricing page.

Is training available?

One of the key components when developing Draftworx was ease of use. New users find the “Draftworx Training Videos” and “Draftworx User Manual” - which are freely available - more than adequate to get started. The videos can be found on our Training page and these training resources are available in Draftworx Desktop on the Client List toolbar.

Can I import data from any accounting package?

Yes, you can import a Trial Balance directly from most of the popular accounting applications, including FNB Instant Accounting, Pastel Partner, Pastel Xpress, Sage Evolution, Sage One, QuickBooks, QuickBooks Online, Xero and CaseWare. Draftworx also supports direct imports from Excel if you have a client using any other accounting application. Simply export to Excel and import into Draftworx using the Spreadsheet import option.

Can I use Draftworx when away from the office?

Yes, Draftworx has multiple options that supports working remotely                                                                                             

Draftworx Cloud is the web-based version of Draftworx. There is no installation required – you simply login through your web browser. Draftworx Cloud is accessible from anywhere in the world, from any device, as long as an internet connection is available. Draftworx Cloud is multi-user which means more than one user can work on a client at the same time.                                                                                                                                                                              
Draftworx Desktop Server Clients allows you to save your client files to a shared firm server or any other remote location such as OneDrive or Dropbox. Client files to be worked on remotely can be booked out from the server/remote location to a local drive and booked in once completed.

Draftworx WebSync is a shared firm location on Draftworx Web Servers, where your client files are saved and accessible via the internet. This allows multi-user access to all licensed Draftworx users. Users can simultaneously access and collaborate on any client file provided there is an internet connection. an internet connection.
